Wha, wha WHAT!!!

Okay, I thought i saw it all. I mean just being on line opens your eyes to a myriad of images, some good, some bad. Well, I like to think of myself as an explorer of sorts. I spent a good amount of time online so I have seen alot of things. Things that would make the average persons head turn, know what I mean? I've seen things let me tell you. Unimaginable things friends and things of wonderment and beauty. This however has trumped them all, this image that I'm about to show you truly takes the cake people. Behold the horror, the terrible, the astounding "What the heck is thatness" of...

CHACHI-TAT!!!

Ok, so maybe its not the weirdest thing you can find online, but come on you have to admit, its pretty freakin' strange. I found this gem while I was doing a Google image search and the caption for the pic really killed me. It said "...really loves them some Chachi". I guess you would have to in order to do this, right? I liked Chachi as much as the next guy (well, not as much as this guy) Happy days was a great show, but really was a memorial tat in order? I can't help but think this dudes lost a bet or passed out and woke up with it. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you babies, I thought it would be good for a laugh. Here's another quick image before I go. Get ready for.....

CHACHI MASK!!!

Be on the look out for my next post in which we'll investigate the anomaly of toe-cheese, stiff upper-lip and the dreaded ring around the collar.

Couple things, couple things.

Hi thur all you beautiful people. how are you today? Oh thats lovely, im so glad to hear it. Now that we got all that happy horse pucky outta the why we can get down to the real nitty gritty. I just wanted to quickly post two things tonight than im outta here, ya hear me, OUT!!!

First i wanted to let you know about a fantastic win fall that came my way about, oh almost two weeks ago. I was in the living room with the wife an young un's, when suddenly our doorbell rang. Now we don't git many visitors this why so naturally i got my banjo an my fire stick and and ask "WHO THE HELL IS IT???". Well as it turned out it was the neighbors, a delightful older couple. Turns out they were cleaning out there house and wondered if we wanted to take a look at a few things before they threw them out. Now just let me take a moment to tell you that i come from a long line of, how shall i put it, garbage pickers so i saw an opportunity to save me a trip to said garbage for said garbage picking so we all said "SURE"(we talk loudly). We checked the stuff out and man did we hit pay dirt. We made off with a bonanza of stuff. An old stereo with turn table, records to play on the turn table(the wifey and me love the sound of records), some old Christmas stuff and a whole lotta movies. Oh yes i said movies. There was a whole box of "All in the family" VHS tapes( we still have a VHS player and a back up one in case the main dies, were not DVD snobs here we just enjoy watching) there must have been at least 16 tapes and each tape had 4 episodes on it, that my friends is a butt load of Archie Bunker, am i right. there was also the whole first season of "South Park" and box set of "Planet of the Apes" all 5 movies. I'm very excited about the ape movies. I remember them vaguely as a kid, i was born in the early 70's, but i could'nt follow the intense story lines of the movies. I've watched the first 4 and as soon as i watch the last I'll write a post on my thoughts, so be on the lookout for that. Finally we also got a 3 disk set of old "Sinbad" movies, and i mean Sinbad the swashbuckler not, i repeat, not the lame comedian. I just mentioned the movies to someone today and they thought i was referring to the later, no, no, no. I'll also go into more detail on the Sinbad movies in a later post.

Wow, i didn't mean to go on that long about nothing so I'll keep the rest as short as possible and as sweet. I wanted to mention quickly "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. I just finished it last night and i really, really liked it. Anybody out there who's a fan of books and movies like "1984" or "Children of Men" will definitely enjoy this book. In a way its very similar to "1984" but its main character is a woman and is told from her perspective, i found that very interesting. I strongly urge any fan of the dystopic tale to check it out if you haven't already. I know theres a movie based on it , but I've never seen it. I will keep me eye's out for it. Has anybody seen the movie? Let me know what you though about it, maybe somebody who owns a copy would like to send it my way for perusal. I would appreciate that and send it back promptly.

Thats it for now, i'll close with a short selection from the "The Handmaid's Tale", just a lil sumthing to whet your appetite. Later babies.

" It was after the catastrophe, when they shot the president and machine-gunned the congress and the army declared a state of emergency. They blamed it on the Islamic fanatics, at the time.
keep calm, they said on television. Everything is under control.
I was stunned. everyone was, I know that. It was hard to believe. The entire government, gone like that. How did they get in, how did it happen?
That was when they suspended the Constitution."

Everything is under control, right?

Be on the lookout for my next post in which we'll delve into such topics as: Colostomy bags, the ever rising cost of gas, homelessness and cheese wheels.

Its a bootyfull day in the neighborhood.

'ello wat ave we got ere? Ok sorry bout the awful English accent, really. I swear on all that is holy and pure that i will never subject y'all to that sort of nonsense again, really. I will, however, subject you to all the other goofy goofiness that resides in my head. I'll regale with tales of my exciting life and loves (I'm a father of two, who's been with the same woman for 14 years so you can just imagine all the high profile adventure I've been involved with), I'll write about things like the movies i watch(i watch a lotta movies), music and whatever else tickles my sweet fancy(yes i have a sweet fancy, wanna make something of it???). Somedays i might even just tawk about the weather, i know exciting, but your the one reading this so what does that say about you, huh?

I never thought I'd write a blog, y'know. I figured what could i possibly have to say that people would be interested in, a poor lil ol' whiteboy with no proper upbringing like me. Than i started reading blogs and found that people will read just about anything so i decided to give a shot, right through the heart, know what i mean. I guess it takes time to build an audience(thats what you'd call it right, i don't know) to read my ramblings, and i suppose it may never catch on but I'll stick wit it(thats not a typo, i spell like i tawk) who knows it could be fun.

As things go alone i think it would be fun to take suggestions on topics from readers and other "bloggers". I think it would great to even start a little community type web based settlement for like minded goof balls, geeks, misfits and miscreants. We could link story's, share thoughts and rub each other feet in a strictly vertual way of course. So i hope you join me and stick wit me on this fantastic, marvelous , mysterious journey into, Oddist: Wonderful World of Wonderment. Please, pretty please don't leave me hanging. I swear I'll make it worth the while all the while.

Be on the lookout for my next post in which i shall disect Salvation, Scurvy, Beachballs and Geo-political strategy of the mid to late 19th century.
